Côté Food provides 3 categories of chicken : Standard, Traditional Free Range (Label Rouge), and Organic. We can provide them in different shapes: whole or in cuts (breasts, legs, crowns, inner fillets or wings) !
We are attentive to our customers’ needs and do our utmost to meet them ; we strive to provide a high quality meat through a careful selection of our suppliers. For each chicken range, we make sure it suits the specifications, we check on the chicken foods and on the traceability of the finished products.
They are available as fresh or frozen.

STANDARD CHICKEN
White or cornfed and cuts.
- Fast growth chicken
- Slaughtering on 30-40 days
- Confinement
- 20 to 25 chicken/m² according to rule 2007/43/CE
- 100% vegetals, minerals and vitamin feeding*
*most of our standard chicken meet these criteria.
LABEL ROUGE
White, cornfed or black leg and cuts.
- Slow growing breed
- Slaughtered at 81 days at the earliest
- « Traditional free range » / outside breeding
- Maximum 400M² henhouse
- In henhouse : 11 chicken/m² maximum
- Outside : 2M²/chicken minimum
- 100% vegetals, minerals and vitamins feeding including a minimum of 75% cereals
- Top Quality taste & texture (regular testings)
- Approved by a Certifying external agency
ORGANIC CHICKEN
White or cornfed and cuts.
- Slow growing breed
- Slaughtered at 81 days at the earliest
- « Traditional free range »/outsitde breeding
- Maximum 400M² henhouse
- In henhouse : 10 chicken/m² maximum
- Outside : 4m²/ chicken minimum, in accordance with organic farming rules
- 100% vegetals, minerals and vitamins feeding including a minimum of 95% raw materials from Organic Agriculture
- Approved by a Certifying external agency
